Throughout history, New York has been recognized as the fashion capital of the world, long before manufacturing was lost to overseas factories. During the development phase of the LeCarington brand, Artist/Founder Lexi Brant Carington had the privilege of meeting many artisans who have run some of the finest couture sewing houses in the past. Today, many of those sewing machines are unmanned and standing empty.

Hearing stories of success that sadly turned to hardship inspired Ms. Carington to create and produce the LeCarington brand in her home state of New York.  The LeCarington brand is proudly produced in the United States and maintained under the creative direction of the artist herself.
